Today it is 15 years ago Falco died on a accident in the Domenican Republic. He was an Austrian singer and very famous in Germany in the early 80’s. His song ‘Der Kommissar’ was covered by After the Fire and also very successfully. He combined in this times Rap, Funk and Soul with his cool and provoking lyrics. This song was nearly banned in German radio stations, because of the lyrics in witch he talks about a pedestrian kidnapping a young girl, raping and killing her. Very weird and still a highlight in German popular music.
